Top 10 Mexico All Inclusive Wedding Resorts

Planning a wedding in Mexico? If you are looking to get married in Mexico, we are glad you found your way here. At Something Azul, we specialize in all-inclusive destination weddings. Something Azul Destination Weddings is award-winning and based right here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We have been to Mexico dozens of times personally, and it remains one of the most popular destination wedding locations for Canadians.

Although our real “top ten” list is always changing, here are ten of our favourites:

Sandos Finisterra

This resort has a stunning “mountain top” terrace, with views overlooking the Cabo San Lucas marina. Every time we visit this resort, the mix of desert vibes and great food has us hooked. They even have a cafe with a cupcake bar! Although ocean views can be found all over Mexico, we feel you truly can’t beat the marina views here. **Ask us how you can save $2000 on your wedding package.**

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos

Although a little out of town (not best suited for “off the resort adventures”), Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is an adults-only Paradise. It feels secluded and romantic, a great laid back vibe if you have a small group of friends and you want your wedding to feel like a luxurious vacation without ever feeling “over the top”. Secrets resorts, in general, have great wedding packages and this resort is no exception. You can score a private reception for 25 guests for under $4000USD.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta

This resort is a hidden gem and although not “budget” can often have more affordable group rates than it’s Hyatt sister resorts. Located just south of Puerto Vallarta, we were surprised to find the water here almost as turquoise as you see in Cancun. Shocking for the Pacific Ocean! The wedding team is SO friendly and responsive here, they are truly a joy to work with.

Fiesta Americana PVR

In our humble opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. They have a stunning rooftop venue, perfect for a small micro wedding of about twenty, and they have a fabulous location – near the Malecon in PVR. It’s hard to explain it, but this resort feels like absolute luxury despite it’s smaller price tag. The resort offers wedding packages for up to 100 guests, which is perfect for our larger groups!

Iberostar Playa Mita

Another hidden gem! This resort sits right between Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita so you truly get the best of both worlds. Although their wedding packages aren’t great, most of our couples choose to book their wedding ” a la carte” to get the best of both worlds. Trust us, their sunset terrace is to die for. Just another perk of having a destination wedding planner!

Ocean Riviera Paradise

For couples wanting something a bit more affordable for their guests, this resort has a great location (near Puerto Morelos, south of Cancun in the Riviera Maya) and they have absolutely beautiful wedding venues. The resort is fairly new as well, so everything feels clean and renovated. On top of that, they have everything you need, including a bowling alley, to keep you and your guests entertained for the week!

NOW Sapphire

It’s hard to describe the way you feel stepping on the property of NOW Sapphire. You instantly feel relaxed and well taken care of, and although the property is recently renovated, it still feels like traditional Mexico with their villa-style room set up and atmosphere.

Secrets Huatulco

When our owner, Chelsea Landaverde, visited she had a chance to experience the Temazcal ceremony and came back raving about the unique experience. The traditional, renewing Temazcal ceremony is led by an Intercessor, or healer, and is one hour long. The ritual will begin with a blessing from the Intercessor, and one by one, guests will enter the Temazcal structure, sitting in a circle for the healing ceremony. The shelter will be filled with hot stones and the Intercessor will guide participants through the spiritual ritual, involving aromas, herbal steams, sounds, and sensations.

Hyatt Cancun

If you want 360 degrees of ocean views, look no further. Hyatt Cancun rests on “the tip of the Cancun 7” so on one corner you are surrounded by the lagoon views and for the remaining 270 degrees, the ocean. The property also has a Turquoize building which is adults only for guests who want a kid-free vacation (complete with a rooftop pool to take in ALL the views).

Dreams Tulum

We love the Secret Garden venue of Dreams Tulum because it is so unique, but really the entire property is absolutely stunning. The resort itself is only 5 minutes from the trendy town of Tulum and both you and your guests will feel well cared for at this AAA Four Diamond Award-winning resort.
